To maintain accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company standards, all officers at American Custom Private Security (ACPS) are required to follow the timekeeping policies outlined below. Proper time tracking ensures you are paid correctly and demonstrates our shared commitment to professionalism and accountability.
✅ Key Policies You Must Follow
-
Use Military Time (24-Hour Format)
All time entries must be written in military time (e.g., 0800 for 8:00 AM, 1430 for 2:30 PM). -
Real-Time Entries Only
You must enter times as they occur. Pre-filling times before or after your shift is strictly prohibited. -
No White-Out or Erasures
If you make an error, draw a single line through it, initial the correction, and enter the correct time nearby. -
Shift Start and End Protocols
-
No early clock-ins unless approved by a supervisor.
-
Your shift begins at the scheduled start time, not your arrival time.
-
Leaving Post
If you leave your assigned post during a shift, record the exact time you left and returned. -
Break Time Recording
Only record missed or interrupted breaks. Use the designated sections for Rest Breaks and Meal Breaks and record both OUT and IN times.
